Meals & Nutrition Education Services

Community Feeding Program

We believe that good nutrition is the cornerstone of good health. Through our Community Feeding Program, we collaborate with local partners to provide nutritious meals and essential nutritional education to underserved communities. These programs ensure that individuals receive the nutrients they need to improve their overall well-being.

 

By offering balanced meals and educational resources, we empower individuals to make informed dietary choices, leading to enhanced energy, mood, and long-term health.

Highlights:

​

  • Summer Meal Program: Served free, pre-packaged lunches to children and Senior Citizens.​

    • Last summer, we served more than 400 local youth every single day in July through our Summer Meal Program, in partnership with Arlington Recreation Centers.​

  • Afterschool Feeding Program: Year-round support in low-income communities with meals and snacks.

  • Nutrition Education: Teaching families how to prepare healthy meals from food pantry staples.

Veteran Anchor

We support women veterans and their children with essential resources, housing connections, and community services

that help veterans stabilize, grow, and thrive.

Through our Technology Hub we are dedicated to equipping women, including veterans and underserved communities with the digital tools and knowledge essential for success in today's technology-driven world. we bridge the digital divide by increasing access to devices, internet, and digital skills.

Tech Program 

Empowering seniors through technology, connection, and community.


Our program helps older adults gain confidence using modern technology - from smartphones to telehealth - so they can stay connected, access essential services, and maintain independence. We also provide meaningful social activities to reduce isolation and promote community wellness.

  • Using smartphones, tablets, and computers.

  • Accessing telehealth appointments.

  • Paying bills online & managing accounts.

  • Using email, texting, video calls, and emergency features.

  • Understanding online safety and avoiding scams.

  • Bingo and interactive games.

  • Lunch-and-Learns (health, financial literacy, tech tips, etc.).

  • “Ask-a-Tech” support booths at senior living communities, events, etc.
